What We Can Do...NOW!

There are MANY needs in our city as you have read.  You are probably asking yourself, "well, how do we make a lasting difference?"  There are actually many strategies which the CPSP has researched towards getting the word out about the need, and effectuating change in our community.  As with anything worthwhile, it will take effort and perseverance - but our overall goals can be achieved.

The following represents a partial list of actions the CPSP intends to initiate to help move our agenda forward:

1)   Write letters to the editor.

2)   Become regular attendees at Plan Commission and Council meetings.

3)   Write letters and schedule meetings with local officials including the mayor and Council members.

4)   Do the same for Plan Commission members.

5)   Organize an event.

6)  Have displays at local events.

7)  Talk to your friends and neighbors about group and get them to help out.

8)  Produce proposals/plans for city review and decision.

9)  Create a brochure for wide distribution.

10) Post flyers at high-traffic locations.
