In order to effectively get our message out to the public, the CPSP plans to organize several events.  Please refer to this page periodically to keep abreast of our schedule.  These are special activities above and beyond our monthly meetings and participation at Crown Point Council and Plan Commission meetings.

Crown Point Bike-to-Work Day:  Friday, May 16th!

CP Safe Pathways is pleased to join with the City of Crown Point and the YMCA and the 1st Crown Point Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 16th.  Breakfast stations for those looking to ride in on their bikes will be set up at the following locations:

Solon Robinson Park

Courthouse Square

Merrillville Road Walking Bridge

Kaiser Park

Erie-Lackawanna Trail Terminus at 93rd Avenue

Only those who are riding into work that day will receive free breakfast snacks and drinks.  CP Safe Pathways thanks Parks Director Julie Johnson for her support in setting up these stations for those looking to bicycling into work!
