Bike Parking at the Taste of CP!

Taking our cue from similar events in other parts of the country, members of CP Safe Pathways staffed a "bike corral"  where we watched bikes for those wishing to visit the 2007 Taste of Crown Point.  We were there for both days of the Taste - June 22 and 23.  Through a blitz of advertising, we were able to host about two dozen bikes on the first day, but sadly Mother Nature didn't cooperate and we were washed out on day two.  Even so, those who parked their bikes with us were very appreciative of effort, and many more wish they knew we were there.  CP Safe Pathways intends to be back next year - with PLENTY of lead-time to get the word out.  Here are some pics from the weekend:
